Freemotion PRO Harness: A New Lightweight Option for Canicross and Bikejor, In Stock From 1st September

What Is the Freemotion PRO?

The Freemotion PRO is a dedicated pulling harness built for dog-powered sports — canicross, bikejoring, and skijoring. It's based on the original Freemotion harness, a design already used widely by competitive teams, but with a few refinements aimed at speed, fit, and durability.

This isn't a general everyday harness, and it isn't designed to discourage pulling — it's built for dogs whose sport is pulling, so the focus is on efficient, comfortable force transfer rather than restriction.

Key Features

CleanSeam™ construction The seams are reversed and stitched on the inside, creating a smooth surface against the dog's coat and skin. The aim is reduced chafing during sustained activity, along with a more body-hugging fit and added stability through the stronger seam construction.

Freemotion tech™ This underpins shoulder freedom and breathing space, so the dog can move without restriction through the shoulders while pulling — important for maintaining stride and stamina over distance.

Slimmer sizing for athletic builds Sizes 5s, 6s, and 7s have a narrower neck opening, designed to suit lean, athletic dogs more precisely than a standard fit.

Adjustable and reinforced hardware Static side straps can be adjusted for fit, back straps are replaceable (useful for teams putting the harness through regular heavy use), and Hypalon reinforcement is added in high-stress areas for extra durability.

The Freemotion PRO is aimed at dogs actively involved in canicross, bikejoring, or skijoring — whether that's weekend training runs or competitive events. It's a purpose-built sports harness rather than a walking or everyday harness, so it suits handlers who already know their dog pulls confidently and safely in harness.
