We’re really excited to be opening our doors officially on Saturday and becoming the new destination for dog harnesses in Dumfries.

So what’s the ethos and why do we need another dog shop in Dumfries? It’s pretty simple really, I got tired of having to buy online because nowhere locally stocked the brands and items that I wanted for my dogs. I’m pretty particular about my dog gear and there are a good few brands out there that tick every box - but nobody was stocking them! I had to drive down to Cumbria to get a Ruffwear harness for my cocker.

So Track and Trail Canine Outfitters was born!

What do we mean by that? Well you’re not going to find anything pink and sparkly in here, no flimsy collars and leads and absolutely nothing that isn’t strength tested and professionally endorsed.
